About the role:
Experience with PostgreSQL (Aurora PostgreSQL preferred)
Well-versed in developing views/stored procedures on PostgreSQL
Expertise with PL/pgSQL
Extensive experience with PostgreSQL deployment and version control
Solid experience designing, implementing, and maintainingproduction scripts
Experience with NoSQL databases, with a preference for thosedatabases that are AWS native
Experience with ETL/ELT
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with PowerBI and Report Development
Ability to develop relational and dimensional data models forOLTP databases
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, conduciveto team development
Well-versed in business analysis to prepare logical and physicalmodels
Good data analysis and data quality assessment skills
Expertise with database design and development
Ability to develop and write system documentation
Position requirements:
5 to 7+ Years of experience with Database Development
Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL
Knowledge of best engineering practices in agile software development: architectural paradigms, code reviews, branching, task management, documentation, and testing
Preferred Skills:
Experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora with deployment and version control
Experience with Azure and/or AWS
Experience with Snowflake and Power Bi ETL/ELT
