Must have hands on experience on building and implementing large-scale data models in a modern data platform ..This position must be filled in US Eastern or Central time zones only.. Your future duties and responsibilities: The primary task associated with this role will be to develop, manage, and update data models, including physical and logical models), and if required the staging area and source systems. The Data modeler should be able to work with the Business SMEs, Application Development Team, ETL Team, Reporting Team, and DBA to translate the business requirements into a logical model. The logical model is captured in the ERD, which then feeds the work of the Database Administrator, who designs and implements the physical database. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Extensive knowledge of Oracle & PostgreSQL database design . Experience with Erwin Modeling Tool . Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts. . Defines data/information architecture standards, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and applies accepted data content standards to technology projects. . Responsible for producing logical and physical database designs, script/ procedure development . Works closely with application development team in data acquisition/ access analysis, design, optimization, load strategy design and implementation . Prior experience with CMS reference architecture and standards preferred Nice to have: . Knowledge of COGNOS and Informatica .
