JOB DESCRIPTION
Integrates in-depth data analysis knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices
Demonstrates a good understanding of how data analytics teams and areas integrate with others in accomplishing objectives
Applies project management skill
Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems
Employ an array of technological languages and tools to connect systems together
Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures
Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
Analyzes factual information to make accurate judgments and recommendations focused on local operations and broader impacts
Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner
Employs developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information
Demonstrates attention to quality and timeliness of service to ensure the effectiveness of the team and group
Provides informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members
Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality
JOB QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
At least 5 years experience as a Data Engineer or similar
Proficient in Data Modelling, Data Architecture , ETL, Data warehousing, Data Lake
Proficient in Linux/Unix and shell scripting as well as in functional programming languages
Proficient in one or more scripting language (e.g Python, R)
Experience in Apache NiFi based analytics covering data processing, access, storage, governance, security, and operations
Experience in Cloud based Big Data technologies
Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, ELB, WAF, CloudWatch
Experience with Google Cloud Platform: Looker Studio, BigQuery, Analytics, Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine
Experience in both Unix and Windows environments
Expeinforience in databases: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgresDB, MongoDB
