JOB DESCRIPTION
A Senior Data Admin(CL2) will help the company by ensuring data security and quality and by supporting data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and other data-oriented professionals in catering and delivering end-to-end enterprise-level solutions for both our internal and external engagements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure data security throughout data ingestion and data quality activities
• Install all needed software components crucial for the end-to-end delivery of our enterprise-level data
solutions
• Properly configure all systems and provide system administration support if needed
• Manage existing data on existing data warehouses, data marts, and other data storage
• Support data migration with proper capacity planning, troubleshooting, and by implementing proper
backup and data recovery measures
• Assist associate data admins and servers as a consultant in times of need
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualifications:
• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or any other
related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience working as a data admin is required for this position
• Working knowledge in AWS, GCP, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Yarn, Oracle DB, or at least one of these is required for this position.
• Knowledge of different servers such as windows server, CentOS, and any other strongly preferred
• Knowledge in handling different relational and non-relational databases is strongly preferred
