SENIOR COST ESTIMATOR
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College degree, Engineering(Civil) or equivalent
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience with estimating software and spreadsheet design
Ability to use CAD Programs
Knowledgeable in material costing
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Gathers information necessary for the preparation of commercial bid proposal from the account manager
Coordinates and negotiates with the client's representative about the commercial bid proposal
Monitors the status of bid proposal and request for quotation from the account manager
Endorse costing of bill materials for every project
Prepares purchase order to supplier for approval of Department Head
Monitor relevant cost and provide correct and detailed cost reports to the project management team
Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor cost.
