About the job Senior Consultant - Identity & Access Management (IAM)Job Summary:We are seeking a technically skilled and client-focused Senior IAM Consultant to support identity transformation initiatives for global organizations. This role will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Identity & Access Management solutions that align with security best practices, regulatory requirements, and business needs. The role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in IAM frameworks and technologies who are looking to step into leadership or solution design responsibilities.The position involves close collaboration with both internal and client-facing stakeholders, offering opportunities to shape enterprise IAM strategies and deliver secure, scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning, design, and implementation of IAM solutions across enterprise environments.
Assist in developing technical architectures for identity lifecycle management, access governance, authentication, and authorization.
Configure and deploy IAM tools and integrations with business applications, cloud platforms, and directories.
Contribute to the creation of role-based access models, identity workflows, and policy enforcement strategies.
Perform technical assessments and identify gaps or improvements in existing IAM infrastructure and processes.
Support project documentation, risk assessments, compliance requirements, and end-user enablement activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams.
Stay updated on IAM trends, emerging threats, and technologies to inform recommendations and solution design.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
4-6 years of experience in IAM implementation, security consulting, or identity governance roles.
Familiarity with industry-standard IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID).
Understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), RBAC/ABAC models, and directory services.
Knowledge of cloud IAM concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to evolving client requirements.
