Project Manager (Construction) - Manila
Description
Support the Managing Director and Project Director.
Project management, coordination and liaison with government authorities/clients/contractors/sub-consultants/JV partners/consortium partners;
Work closely with the Project Director and lead the project team members to understand the project and potential obstacles to success. When facing issues, lead the project team members to define and implement corrective actions to bring the projects back in line with client agreements for expectations, scope, schedule, and budget.
Participate in all financial review meetings for the projects.
Take an active role in retaining and recruiting top talent for the project team.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering. Minimum 15 years of project management experience, preferably in consulting engineering firms working on water/wastewater projects.
A licensed engineer in the Philippines, or a professional engineer/chartered engineer in his/her own country.
Familiarity in FIDIC suite of conditions of contracts preferred.
Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures in the Philippines would be an advantage.
