Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect experienced in AWS Cloud Technologies to define and implement a cloud solution for a large mission critical application based on the IBM Tririga COTS product along with supporting Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect experienced in AWS Cloud Technologies to define and implement a cloud solution for a large mission critical application based on the IBM Tririga COTS product along with supporting Java based applications. The Senior Cloud Engineer works as part of the engineering team to support the design and implements the cloud solution. The Senior Cloud Engineer supports the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Everything as Code (EaC), DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline automation strategies. The Senior Cloud Engineer recommends, evaluates, and implements methods to optimize and enhance the application within the cloud environment to maximize performance and minimize costs. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Designs and Implements complex, mission-critical cloud-based enterprise IT solutions for Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) customers . Develops application refactoring and re-platforming designs targeting commercial clouds AWS using IaaS and PaaS services . Creates and presents solution designs, options, ideas, and innovations to customers senior leadership team. . Develops and Maintains Technical Roadmaps and Innovation Plans . Develops and Implements DevSecOps CI\CD cloud automation tool strategy. . Establishes project estimates and plans, identifies risks and mitigations, oversees development and delivery of technical solutions. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline . AWS Architect Certification . 8+ years of cloud architecture experience . Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills . Knowledge of modern cloud-native application design principles, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI\CD Pipelines, Microservices, Containers, etc. . Familiar with Windows Server and Linux virtualized Operating Systems Environments . CompTIA Security+ or equivalent to satisfy DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements .
