Seek development input to ensure implementation is within the product framework. . Perform internal verification and identify product defects for resolution to ensure delivery of good quality product. . Participate in testing & deployment to comply with business requirements and assist in replicating issues that need development intervention. . Provide maintenance support on the resolution of customer reported issues. . Work with cross-functional and cross-location teams to troubleshoot application defects and fix data, user, and application issues. . Collaborate effectively in resolving moderate to complex software defects . Collaborate with Software Development Managers on projects or tasks assigned across multiple functional groups. . Provide project estimates on specific assigned tasks and report project status Qualifications 6-8 yrs.development experience with SAP Business Objects 4.x Excellent coding, implementation and software design. Excellent use of tools and technology. Analytical and technical thinking across multiple areas of responsibility. Experience with ETL (such as Pentaho) and Scala programming is an advantage. SAP Business Objects Certification is a plus Proficient on the following Tools/Technology Relational database management (RDBMS) systems, SQL in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database systems Experience documenting business requirements Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on the need, across globally distributed teams Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Highly analytical and technical within one's own area of responsibility. Ability in consistently producing high quality work in aggressive timeframes and ability to perform under pressure. Follows through on action items and delivers requested objectives on time. Good knowledge in process improvement, error prevention and application performance tuning. Very good coding/Implementation skills in problem decomposition, code organization, code readability, defensive coding and error handling. Adapts to change and shifting priorities, preferably mid-shift (1PM-10PM)
