We empower visionary entrepreneurs, champion goodness, support nonprofits, and elevate the accounting and finance profession to leave a lasting impact on the world.About the RoleWe're seeking an Excel, Quickbooks Online and automation guru to join our team of accomplished CFOs and Controllers. In this role, you'll be instrumental in automating and streamlining financial models, systems, and work processes using AI and leading software solutions. You'll support both our internal team and clients in implementing solutions and developing sophisticated models, reports, and analyses.Key Responsibilities
Create financial models to support business decision-making
Build comprehensive financial reports and analyses for internal teams and clients
Research, evaluate, and implement AI and other technology tools, applications, and systems
Provide advanced Excel and Google Sheets support, including:
Developing Google Scripts
Creating automations
Importing data from QuickBooks Online and other systems
Optimize workflows within our tech stack (QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and Harvest)
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and implement tailored solutions
Document processes and create training materials for internal team and clients
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in financial systems
Qualifications
Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets
Knowledge of automation tools such as Zapier, Make and n8n to pull data from various sources including QuickBooks Online
Extremely tech-savvy with strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in client-facing roles, comfortable communicating with clients and their staff
Knowledge of financial modeling, reporting, and analysis techniques
Ability to thrive in a busy, exciting startup environment
Self-directed work style with strong task completion orientation
Enthusiasm and excitement about professional growth and development
Preference for autonomy and taking initiative
Strong desire to work for a values-driven company
Background in finance, accounting, or business analytics preferred
Experience with automation tools and AI implementation a plus
