Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for a BI Developer to join our team. Our BI Developers work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, are passionate about gaining and communicating insights on complex data, and are critical in supporting data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate with the team while individually contributing to project deliverables that meet our clients' needs. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Engage and drive meetings with client stakeholders and internal members to drive out requirements . Quickly understand varied technology stacks and how they connect to and impact BI tools . Develop and test dashboards and reports using data visualization and analytics tools . Communicate development methodologies to client technical teams and leadership . Educate the client on building and using BI development tools to create insights that aide in decision making . Advise project management team on BI workstream timelines, resources, and deliverables . Own BI workstream deliverables and manage BI workstream team members . Potential regional travel to client sites Required Qualifications: Development . Significant hands-on technical experience with Tableau and Power BI suite (i.e. Desktop, Report Builder, Service, etc.) . Strong command of SQL and relational databases . Experience with other BI visualization and analysis tools (i.e. Looker, SSMS, Alteryx, Microstrategy, Qlikview, etc.) . Strong experience using data manipulation tools to source, transform, and blend data from multiple different data sources Architecture . Experience with modern data warehousing and design, such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Google Big Query, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse . Exposure to ETL/ELT processes . Familiarity with data modeling, mapping, and curation Communication and Interpersonal Skills . Conduct interviews with technical and non-technical resources regarding BI tools and data . Strong interpersonal skills, presentation, and data narration / storytelling abilities with demonstrated ability to present to executive audiences . Adept at creating technical documentation to support solution training, maintenance, and adoption . Ability to deliver training sessions to clients around dashboard or visualization creation and usage BA, BS, BSBA, or MS in Management, MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or related field Desired Qualifications: . Experience working on a team of developers of similar or lower skill level . Having examples of scaling production-facing applications in large enterprise environments .
