Job Description Self-starting, driven, works autonomously, and has no problems with either leading or collaborating with different teams in order to come up with sound recommendations that will enable the team to meet business demands. Flexible enough to work as an identified SME who can be consulted for complex projects, or perform actual coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting, throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide support for existing production issues and bugs by performing technical root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions Ensure that the software continues to function normally through software maintenance, continuous performance monitoring and testing Commit to life-long learning by continuously upskilling oneself on state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, computing equipment, by participating in educational opportunities. Open to sharing knowledge and coaching junior peers whenever possible and whenever the need arises. Work hand in hand with software architects and other software developers to establish and document development standards and serve as a developer advocate who can cascade the standards within the organization. Has proven skills in DevOps, Backend, and Cloud Development. Work Experience At least 5 years work experience preferably in Telco, IT, and project implementation and support At least 5 work years experience in software development with focus on cloud and backend technologies Level of Knowledge Advanced level in data modeling, application frameworks, systems integration techniques, enterprise integration patterns, networking concepts, and cloud-native application development Has 5+ years experience working on the following technologies: AWS Certified (at least Developer or Architect Associate) or with extensive AWS development experience Programming Languages - Java, Python, NodeJS Has 3+ years experience working on the following technologies: Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, PKS, AWS ECS / Fargate Microservices / Serverless / Event-Driven Architecture Knowledge on the following technologies would be a plus: API - REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, Web Services DB/DB Caching - Redis, Amazon Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Memcache, Apache Cassandra Knowledgeable in one or more SDLC Models (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc.) Competencies Core Competencies Inspiring Self Results Orientation Decision Making and Accountability Collaborative Teamwork Market Driven Innovation Customer First Working knowledge of information technology fundamentals and programming languages Ability to gain knowledge of programming language and platforms used in-house, program design and development procedures, turnover procedures, and housekeeping standards Ability to effectively manage time while working on multiple assignments with guidance as to relative priorities of assignments Ability to gain detailed knowledge of general system architecture and functionality, as well as detailed knowledge of specific sub-systems Make Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
