Some of the sectors they work with are food and drink, farm and estates, property constructions, and charities. They provide several services like Accounting Solutions, Audit and Assurance, and Tax Accounting.
About the Role
We want to give you responsibility for delivering services to a diverse portfolio of clients (turnover of up to £60m), predominantly owner-managed businesses. Working with friendly and a hard working team of 19 people from trainees to partners.
About You
We are looking for someone who has a prior background in UK accounting. As a person, you must be someone who has a high level of personal maturity and a can-do attitude. As this work entails exposure to numbers day in and out, you must be motivated, methodical, and accurate. Excellent personal organisation and time management will go a long way.
Day to Day:
Audit planning and control of fieldwork for a client portfolio
Deliver high quality, fully compliant financial statements
Identify areas of risk within clients' business and define the appropriate audit approach
Review work of team members to ensure audit objectives have been met
Use in-depth knowledge of clients to anticipate and address challenging, complex and interesting issues
Key Skills and Qualifications
ACA/ACCA fully qualified
Ideally 18-24 months post qualified
Experience of Microsoft Office Package
Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Aspirational person to work in a friendly, motivated team
