We are currently looking for a Senior Architect (US Project) in the Philippines.This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead architectural projects for U.S.-based clients, focusing on wood and steel construction. You will take ownership of design development, construction documentation, and structural analysis while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, including the NY State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code. Conducting site plan and zoning analyses, and preparing detailed construction documents.
Designing and drafting structures, including basic electrical and plumbing plans.
Developing structural design options and performing cost analyses for projects.
Producing realistic 3D color renderings and ensuring designs comply with all relevant codes.
Mentoring and guiding junior architects, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback.
Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Leading workshops or training sessions to foster continuous professional development.
RequirementsRequirements:The ideal candidate will have:
Several years of architectural experience, including work on New York state projects.
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Practical knowledge of wood and steel construction, and familiarity with MEP coordination.
Strong understanding of the NY State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, with ability to apply code-compliant solutions.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
Ability to produce high-quality construction drawings and clearly explain details for field implementation.
Leadership and mentoring skills to support and train team members.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of problem-solving in complex projects.
Willingness to work overtime when required.
