Job Description
Main Android App Developer Responsibilities:
Analyze production code and database performance and provide optimizations as required for clients.
Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications
Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level
Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols
Review and ensure that coding standards are being applied.
Guide and give input on best practices and coding practices to the team to best complete business objectives.
Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
Lead an existing team of Android App developers located in the Philippines.
Qualifications
At least 6 years of experience as an android app developer.
Need a self-starter and creative problem solver with extensive pride of ownership
iGaming experience a plus but not required
Key Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
You have prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK
You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Familiarity with various testing tools
You are a problem solver with good analytical skills
