Summary of the Role:
The Senior Analyst, Logistics Transport is responsible for the timely and cost efficient execution of inventory deployments from pre-defined lanes (Vendors or SCJ Manufacturing Facilities heading towards SCJ DCs) within the scope of International Logistics and to deliver excellence in customer service - at The Right Time, Right Place, Right Quantity, Right Quality,  at the least possible cost. Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handle Import-Export activities by planning and managing shipment of bookings with forwarders, ensuring all shipping documents are in accordance with the custom requirements, and analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
Ensure all transport operations and processes are fully compliant with all relevant SCJ Policies/Protocols, and Country legal standards particularly in health and safety, environmental, dangerous goods management, transport safety, GEN24 and import-export regulations
Oversee Inventory management and traceability within the transportation network and work closely with Warehouse operation team in order meet delivery plan and KPIs
Define and implement sustainable cost efficiency programs through application of LEAN/OPEX methodologies and approach to cost saving and cost inflation management
Work cross functional with all related parties in supply chain and partner with Customer Supply Chain to optimize the customer, service and cost within the network
Coordinate and interact with relevant stakeholders (LSPs, forwarders, truckers , carriers, brokers, vendors, etc.) to ensure the deployment of shipments to Warehouses and that the KPI is meeting the SLA
Addressing and resolving shipment issue from day-to-day operation and notify related parties regarding business impact/ disruption
To ensure that the optimize utilization of contract award volume for all shipment to Philippines
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, International Business Management or any related field
At least 4 years of experience in Logistics, Export- Import, Freight Forwarder, PH Customs Regulations preferably with an exposure in a multinational FMCG company
Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office
Able to communicate fluently in English
