SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking for a Senior Analyst for Contract Management to support the company's overall strategy for Financial Services Operations that will include contract booking and onboarding, Post-Placed in Service (PIS) modifications, Invoicing (Billing) and buyouts. The Senior Analyst for Contract Management reports to the Contract Management Team Lead.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Perform operational servicing functions, including financial product contract onboarding, contract servicing and contract modifications
Identifying and resolving problems; preparing and completing action plans pertaining to Contract Onboarding & Restructuring via Info lease system
Perform system, process improvement and quality assurance activities
Prepares Financial Products Servicing operations performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Works closely with different Financial Services Operations / Servicing groups
Maintain production data integrity for the portfolio
Perform New Contract Onboarding and contract modification
Change/Modify/Update Subledger system based on executed contract/documents
Ability to connect the dots particularly on the Financial Products Operations / Servicing process
Update servicing system (Info Lease) and perform data entry to book/modify contracts in an accurate and timely manner.
Validate the accuracy and completion of all modification requests. Ensure procedures and controls are being followed and maintained
Work closely with other group (such as Order-to-Cash, Originations, Funding Management and Accounting) to assess and review impact of change and coordinate team delivery
Proactively report out exceptions and manage all servicing contracts and maintain accurate customer and contract information
Develop and/or modify operating instructions as it relates to the process
Participate in special projects and perform related duties as assigned
Execute modification/change request upon receipt, and document exceptions within current authority and execute Restructures/Modifications on sub ledger after validating multipoint checks
Strong math aptitude, typing skills and analytical skills
Team player with high energy, a positive outlook and professional demeanor who takes initiative
Prepare and communicate daily/weekly /monthly reports
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related Finance Industry Experience and 2+ years of progressive AR Management operations experience in a financial production domain
2 to 3 years in InfoLease Systems and other ERP system (Oracle, SAP)
2 to 3 years in Contract Restructuring and/or a Special Situations and/or Modifications Role
Analytical and keen to details
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Night shift adaptability
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as, time management and organization skills
Self-directed with the ability to work with various stakeholders and teams. Ability to make quality, independent decisions, as well as, the ability to collaborate effectively with other analysts, team leaders and managers
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in MS Excel
Finance and Accounting knowledge. Must demonstrate a solid understanding of General Accounting procedures as well as audit and controls; ability to work with sub-ledger systems
Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills
Has been in current post for at least one year
