Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Perform onboarding, periodic and trigger event reviews of KYC and CDD information and documentation for clients and investors compliance with MAS and CIMA AML/CFT regulations and guidelines
· Familiar with KYC requirements for individuals and different types of entities and types of KYC documents to request
· Possess knowledge of source of funds and source of wealth
· Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of KYC documentation including but not limited to client's identity, beneficial ownership, and bearer share information
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for issues and deficiencies identified during customer due diligence review
· Conduct screening and perform adverse news search on the clients and investors
· Highlight any positive name hit, sanction country, entity and person, Politically Exposed Person (PEP) and Relative and Close Associates (RCA)
· Report on any findings to the superior on timely manner
· Familiar with and perform simplified due diligence and enhanced due diligence (EDD) accordingly and when required
· Identify and escalate any red flag to the clients
· Ensure Due Diligence and Client Data are documented and up-to-date
· Participate in projects with relation to regulatory changes, new processes, system enhancements
Qualifications
· Minimum Degree
· At least 3-4 years of AML/KYC experience in the financial industry (ideally Banking/Fund administrator)
· Knowledge on AML/CFT regulations of Singapore, Hong Kong and Cayman Islands will be beneficial
· Experience in background check such as AML/CFT screening, KYC application
· Experience in performing Risk Assessment
· Professional certifications such as ACAMS or ICA is preferred
· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
· Detail oriented and analytical
· Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word
