Job Description
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accounts payable voucher of operation expenses of the company.
FUNCTIONS:
1. Receives and process request for payment from ALL DEPARTMENTS and prepares the necessary accounting entries in the APV. Checks and verifies request for payment (RFP) upon receipt from requisitioning party based on attached source documents;
2. Check the Cheque Vouchers and Accounts payable voucher for cash advances, commissions, petty cash replenishment, 2307 or EWT of suppliers etc;
3. Files and maintains accounts payable vouchers;
4. Ensures that all payables are properly accounted, thru the proper recording of APV, JV and other source documents. Reviews source documents attached to the APV and Check Voucher etc.
5. Updates and maintains the APV schedule listing;
6. Performs analysis of accounts
7. Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the General Accountant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
· At least 3 years experience in accounting from a real estate company would be an advantage;
· Analytical, keen on details, hardworking and can work under pressure with minimal supervision;
· With good oral & written communication skills and interpersonal skills
· Computer proficient
· Willing to work in Aseana, Parañaque
