Assists in the development and maintenance of financial reporting systems to ensure the integrity of financial records.
Supervises all month-end and year-end accounting procedures including preparation and journal entries that are related to general accounting activities.
Ensures that subsidiary ledger accounts are matched with the General Ledger accounts.
Prepares/reviews all journal entries pertaining to general accounting activities and checks all the reports and documents prepared by general accounting members.
Prepares the monthly bank reconciliations and coordinates with banks all transactions pertaining to Finance.
Prepares Cash Position and monitors the availability of cash from time to time including coordination with banks for Fund Conversion and Fund Transfer every time it is needed.
Ensures that all taxes are remitted on time. Assists superior in the computation of quarterly corporate income tax and annual corporate income tax. Ensure that all tax certifications to be issued to suppliers and employees are given on time as provided by the BIR rules.
Ensures that all fixed assets are properly recorded and depreciation is calculated accurately. Ensures that all fixed assets-related documents are recorded and properly filed. Maintain a record of fixed assets lapsation schedule.
Checks payroll computation of rank-and-file associates.
Supervises and facilitates fixed assets physical inventory taking based on the company procedure and reconciles results against books of accounts. Reports to Accounting Head the reconciliation results.
Ensures to submit Annual Books of Accounts to BIR on a timely basis.
Controls subordinate's attendance performance.
Assists the Accounting Head in the preparation of the related general accounting schedules necessary for the financial audit.
Performs any other related duties as required by superior[s].
