The Opportunity
Generally responsible for the compliance on tax and statutory requirements. Main coordinator for the yearly Financial Audit and backup to General Accounting and Payroll tasks.
Tax & Statutory Reporting
Ensures timely and accurate compliance of all government statutory requirements including filing and payment of taxes, submission of Annual Audited Financial Statements, and other regular reports to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) , Board Of Investment (BOI), Bureau of Customs (BOC), etc.
Prepares Quarterly Income Tax Returns and validates annual income tax returns.
Computes for monthly income tax provision and Deferred Tax Assets.
Leads the preparation of schedules and documentations for BIR Audit and Examination.
Prepares Quarterly Tax Report and Updates submitted to the Corporate Office.
Facilitates the renewal of annual business permits, BOC-AMO permit & BIR-ICC permit.
Compiles the requirements and prepares the application for tax treaty relief and application for inventory destruction.
Controls and Compliance:
Coordinator on the yearly Financial Audit to ensure that all reports, documents are submitted, and Audit was carried out as plan and on time.
Coordinates with stakeholders the list of requirements of external auditors to complete their audit.
Coordinates with external auditor regarding audit adjustments and consolidates the numbers in the Audited Financial Statements.
One of the reviewer of the Annual Audited Financial Statements and Income Tax computation for both for James Hardie Philippines Inc. and Ajempa Holdings to ensure accuracy of reports prior to release and to comply with statutory requirements.
About You
BS Accountancy graduate or its equivalent, Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
With more than 5 years of working experience in General Accounting, with specialization in Taxation, Audit and General Ledger.
Knowledgeable in any accounting system, SAP knowledge is an advantage
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Team player and have ability to work independently
