Job Description:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. S/he will work closely with the senior finance team to maintain financial records, analyze data, and contribute to the overall financial success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure compliance to statutory reporting with regulatory bodies (e.g., SEC, BIR, BOI, etc.)
Generate financial analyses to support decision-making processes.
Audit Support:
Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation during audit processes.
Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Contribute to the development and monitoring of budgets.
Assist in preparing financial forecasts and variance analyses.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management.
Provide support to other areas as needed.
