Overview:
As the Senior Accountant at Kantanna, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and compliance within the IT industry. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
Conduct financial forecasting to support strategic planning initiatives.
Monitor and report on budget variances, providing explanations and recommendations.
Financial Analysis:
Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Generate financial models to support decision-making processes.
Provide support for investment evaluations and business case analyses.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Establish and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct periodic internal audits to assess financial processes and controls.
Taxation:
Collaborate with external tax consultants to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on the IT industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
