Requirements
Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities, including preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements and deliver associated quality, professional accounting outcomes. The individual in this role will provide high level tax and accounting support to the Manager/Partner.
Job Description:
Deliver on other company group tax, accounting and advisory services as required and/or discussed with the Manager/Partner.
Complete basic to high level complexity tax returns and financial accounts
Complete basic to high level complexity GST, BAS, and IAS
Complete all other compliance documents as required
Ensure timely and accurate management of workflow
Ensure timely and accurate management of invoicing, including WIP management
Maintain current knowledge of client lodgement obligations and status across all clients assigned to you and the team, leading the team to ensure accurate recording and maintenance of lodgement program data
Complete all work in accordance with tax and accounting legislative requirements as well as the company processes and procedures
Provide support to the Manager as required
Benefits
Requirements and Skills Needed:
Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant is preferred but not required
​Preferred 4+ years of experience in a similar role in Australian accounting industryknowledgeable on GST, BAS, and IAS
Demonstrated experience preparing financial accounts, tax returns and activity statements
Proficiency in various accounting software including Handisoft, Handi Tax, Handi Ledger, MYOB & Xero is preferred
Demonstrated ability to mentor/train accountants
Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (AU VIC) | 6:00 AM-3:00 PM (PH Time)
