ROLE DESCRIPTION The role will be responsible for assisting the accounting manager in handling the finance matters for the country, preparation of financial reports, and tax activities. The role will require strong communication and problem solving skills, have good attention to detail and be experienced in tax matters and accounting support.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for two local entities full set books
Ensure that AP payment process are managed effectively
Manage payment to trade vendors and vendor reconciliation
Assist to manage the day-to-day finance activities
Responsible for accurate tax preparations, tax filings, and tax reporting on a timely manner
Manage cash flows
Monthly closing and reporting
Manage tax audits for both entities
Providing hedging data/cashflow data to bank
Preparing related documentation for payment approvals
Preparing specified balance sheet reconciliations
Support and drive audit process for internal and external audit
Preparation of financial reporting as required
Assist in forecast process and all other corporate reporting
Others
Interaction with Shared Service Team
Effectively manage shared service finance team in completing duties accurately and on time
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge/Experience:
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, risk and controls and business process best practices.
Strong in local tax knowledge and experience
Strong Accounting, reconciliation, all around accounting experience
Excellent excel skills
Process understanding & system analysis
Ability to improve the efficiency and quality of the accounting data used in the role
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ACCA/CPA
Qualified Accountant with minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to multitask and to tactfully handle high pressure and difficult situations
Accurately captures customer information
Technical Skills
Strong SAP experience
