Job description
This position, which reports to the Chairwoman, is in charge of organizing, planning, and managing all
aspects of general accounting and reporting, including financial statements preparation and analysis,
budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations. This role will focus on assisting with the
month-end close process, reviewing the work prepared by the accounting assistant, and offers
management analysis for various scenarios.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and record the company's book of accounts including cash receipts, cash disbursement
and general journal book
Review journal entries and prepare month-end close
Review of Payroll
Perform Bank reconciliations, PPE lapsing schedules, and accruals of receivables and payables
Prepares monthly financial reports
Ensure that all deliverables with the BIR, SEC, LGU and other governmental bodies are submitted and paid on or before the deadline
Provauditor's external auditor's audit requests, relevant financial reports, and other ad-hoc requirements.
Work with practice leadership to identify opportunities for improving processes and efficiency
Provide management analysis for various scenarios.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
CPA or other relevant certification a plus
The Accountant position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field. The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. They should be able to prepare and analyze financial statements with ease. The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate should have proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor is imperative in this role. The CPA or other relevant certification is a required
