Job Description
The Opportunity
Our partner, an independent, full-service media agency; passionate about delivering better business results for clients by fusing analytics and creativity, is looking for a Senior Accountant to look after all elements of the finance process at the company.
As the Senior Accountant, you will be the foundation member of the finance team and work directly with the Managing Partner and with this the opportunity to set the processes as you wish. As you will be the only team member you have full scope across all finance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Creating and implementing financial plans for the business, analyzing financial data, making recommendations for improving financial performance, and forecasting future financial results.
Create and manage budgets & forecasts, monitor actual results against the budget, and adjust the budget as necessary.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
Communicate financial results to senior management.
Manage cash flow by ensuring the business has enough cash on hand to meet its obligations.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Manage the company's banking relationships.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in Financial roles, Ideally within Marketing organizations
Technical financial skills including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash flow management, Financial reporting
Advanced Microsoft Office 365 Suite experience
Exceptional communication and time management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Systems Savvy
