Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly reports of revenue, profit, rental, fees, and/or reimbursement due
to/from owners pursuant to various lease commitments.
Review and or assist in the preparation and or review of monthly bank reconciliations
Assist the Accounting Department with quarterly G/L account analysis.
Review accounts receivable balances and analyze income variances.
Communicate variance explanations to clients.
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for the monthly general ledger close.
Assist with annual budget preparation.
Assist with the Month-End closing process and consolidated financial statements of several affiliated companies.
Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) year experience in the field of accounting with strong knowledge of
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
Sage 100 Experience
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
General accounting experience including preparation of financial statements, bank
reconciliations, account analysis and variance evaluation.
General understanding of General Ledger and journal entries.
General understanding of lease and management agreements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with external clients as well as internal customers.
Detail and deadline oriented
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
