The Senior Accountant will manage and lead the accounting team.
Responsibilities
Manage the accounting projects/engagements for designated clients
Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements
Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow-through
Assist with staff training and professional development
Other duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks)
Thorough understanding of accounting rules
Possess good time management skills for timely engagements
Strong supervisory skills in managing staffs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and foster a productive, team-oriented environment with both colleagues and clients
Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word & Excel) and report writing tools
Maintain a professional demeanour with co-workers and clients
Requirements
Minimum three years of work experience in accounting for US clients
Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Experience in public accounting is a plus
Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule
