Learn more about Unisys and our key solution offerings: Unisys, Stealth , CloudForte , Intelliserve What Success looks like in this role: Applies generally accepted accounting principles, local statutory financial and tax requirements, company policies and procedures necessary to maintain the requisite books and records of the Corporation. Responsible for internal reporting which satisfies the needs of Corporate and/or management. Responsible for external reporting which satisfies the requirements of the relevant authorities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Tax: Preparation/Review, EFPS filing, payment and reporting of all tax transactions such as but not limited to compensation expanded withholding, final tax, VAT, ITR, CTC, DST, etc. General Accounting: Reviews, certifies balance sheet accounts reconciliation in Blackline, initiate journal or collaborate with concerned parties on the appropriate adjustments Statutory: Audit and compliance including annual registration of books, entity permits and clearances Intercompany: Review of WIA charges and reclassification to appropriate accounts and cost centers Accounts Payable/Receivable: Provides ground support to offshore based SSC-AR/AP team. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) With at least 5 years solid and strong relevant experience in financial/tax reporting External audit experience in MNCs and/or hands-on experience in full accounting cycle using US Gaap and PFRS, preferred Updated in tax filings and regulations Advance Excel skills, Outlook and Oracle Financial Systems OTHER CONDITIONS : Willing to work in Quezon Avenue corner EDSA but Home Office setup during this pandemic with occasional travel to Quezon City office if extremely needed Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
