About The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for the preparation of high complexity accounting and reporting tasks and to support the review function of the Hub Financial Controller and Hub Finance Manager in the provision of accurate and timely financial information to the BU Divisional Financial Control team, and ensuring that all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations (where serviced out of the Hubs) across the Business Unit are adequately met.
As part of the Financial Control team, you will be involved in handling Fixed Asset month end activities. You will also play a key part in supporting the various control and governance activities to ensure the integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet for Property Division. You will be responsible for supporting the month end close process including the finalisation of actuals, month on month analytical review and delivery of the results. In addition, you will also work with the team to meet all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across the business unit. Embedding simplification, standardisation and elimination of financial control activities/processes where appropriate will also be expected of you.

About You
Graduate of Accounting, Finance and Commerce or equivalent degree
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA with extensive experience in Finance roles
Experience in working with onshore and third party teams
Demonstrated an understanding of IFRS and PeopleSoft knowledge preferable
Advanced MS Excel skills or ability to write macros is an advantage
