While primarily acting as a team lead, the Senior Accountant will also be involved in payment processing, specifically in creating payment runs and reviewing them. Job Details:
Work from home
Monday to Friday | 8 PM to 5 AM
*Following Philippine Holidays
Responsibilities:
•Manage and process returns and credit memos accurately and promptly.
•Lead the reconciliation processes ensuring all financial entries are accurate and compliant with financial regulations.
•Engage in payment processing tasks, including creating payment runs and reviewing them to ensure accuracy.
•Act as a team lead, providing guidance, oversight, and support to the accounting team.
•Communicate effectively with both suppliers and buyers to ensure clear financial transactions.
•Play a significant role in the transition to SAP, providing expertise and support to ensure a smooth transition.
•Collaborate with other departments and contribute to cross-functional projects to uphold financial integrity and process improvements.
•Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring they are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
•A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
•Proficiency in SAP and QuickBooks is highly desirable.
•Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
•Experience working with US companies is a plus.
•Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
•A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
•Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing circumstances.
