SUMMARY OF ROLE
The role will perform various fixed assets accounting functions and oversight as well as support for corporate and financial reporting. Focus areas include:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and record fixed assets transactions - additions, transfers, disposals, retirements.
Perform reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger balance with account in the general ledger.
Perform depreciation calculation for all fixed assets.
Carry out inventory counts/physical inspection of fixed assets.
Perform SOX controls for fixed assets.
Prepare reports and analytics for management reviews.
Prepare fixed assets reports/schedules for audit/tax/external reporting requirements.
Supports special projects and initiate process improvements for the team.
Other corporate accounting duties as assigned.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA
At least 5 years' experience in Fixed Assets and General Ledger Accounting.
With good audit and/ or financial reporting experience
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Able to handle multiple projects with the ability to budget time productively.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Can work well at different levels of the organization.
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-faced and dynamic environment
