This is an expanding energy company with a global presence in over 20 countries and Singapore serving as its Asia Pacific hub. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in its accounting operations matters, based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Reporting to Regional Controller for Asia Pacific, The Senior Accountant will be involved in the full spectrum of finance responsibilities, including statutory, management reporting and financial analysis matters. He/ She will also play a key role in finance operations, including fixed assets/ general ledger, accounts payable/ receivables and cash management. Other ad hoc responsibilities will include system implementation, review and development of finance policies. The Accountant will also play a supervisory role to an Accounts Executive in the team.
Requirements
You must have a degree in Finance/ Accountancy with 5 years' experience, including the early years in a Big 4 accounting firm, coupled with the recent years in a MNC environment. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will be interacting with multiple stakeholders throughout the group.
