We’re hiring for a Senior Accountant with CPA License to join our growing team! This is for a DAYSHIFT Australian account - Saturdays and Sundays off!
We’re looking for an analytical Senior Accountant to report on the client’s business finances, cash-flow, budgeting, and preparing the financial statements. Someone who is very keen on details and has experience in budgeting/forecasting and cash flow would be an excellent fit for the role.
 
Responsibilities:
Analyze financial information and summaries financial status
Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
Prepare and maintain Profit and Loss, cash-flow, balance sheet budgets
Monitor and report on cash operation activities
Perform special balance sheet, cash flow, and financial analysis projects as directed
Ensure consistent use and appropriate application of accounting principles and policies
Control quality and ensure timely submission of forecasts and budget.
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
Support month-end and year-end close process
Prepare cash flow statements, income and expenditure accounts
Maintain financial accounts and general ledger system
Establish and maintain effective financial controls and systems
Prepare and deliver key management reports, and provide analysis and commentary on them
Maintain records of actual operating figures for comparison with estimated budgets
Assist clients to understand and utilize the services available to them
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Accounting / Finance or any related degree; preferably a Certified Public Accountant
Proven 5+ years of previous work experience as an Accountant
Significant experience with various accounting software packages such as Pronto, Receipt Bank, and Jitbit
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Comprehensive understanding of statutory accounting policies and procedures
Good English communication skills (both verbal and written) as the candidates will be actively interacting with clients
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Advance knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Must be a team player and willing to assist others
