Job Description
ZigZag is looking for a Senior Accountant (Australian Accounting) to join our growing team!
We are an Australian owned and operated business with a highly qualified team with vast experience in completing tax returns and financial statements for all types of businesses and industries. We pride ourselves on providing quality advice to help small business owners and managers to achieve their financial goals.
We are currently seeking a qualified accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities would include:
Preparation of all Income Tax Return types
Preparation of Special Purpose Financial Statements, including completion of journal entries, reconciliation of GST, updating of asset registers.
Preparation of Business Activity Statements
Experience and Attributes
Experience with Australian accounting is required
Experience with MYOB, Xero and Reckon accounting software
Extensive tax technical knowledge
Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail
The ability to work as a team and independently with a strong focus on time management
*Temporary work from home set up
*Dayshift, Weekends off
