Duties and Responsibilities:
• Processing of client transactions
• Processing of client documents
• Maintenance of accounting systems as required, e.g. setting up new employees, maintaining chart of accounts
• Maintenance of accounts payable and receivable ledgers as required
• Superannuation reporting as required
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Preparation of BAS reports
• Ensuring a register of regular tasks and work instructions is maintained
• Predominantly preparation of financial statements and tax returns
• Collate, review and summarise client information
• Identify and act on anomalies in client records
• Contribute to development of improved internal processes
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Accountancy / Accounting
• 3 to 5 years of Australian Accounting experience
• Experience in preparation of Company, Trust, Partnership and Individual Australian Tax Returns (including Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly BAS)
• Can do Preparation of Financial Statements
• Ability to resolve and investigate issues
• Experience in Xero and MYOB AE Sol 6 Accounting software
• Experience in BGL360 (Simple Fund Accounting Software)
• Proficient in Google Apps and MS Office especially in MS Excel
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• High attention to details
• Able to work autonomously
• Can work with minimal supervision and has initiatives
• SMSF knowledge would be an advantage
• Must be willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
