JOB OVERVIEW
As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the full cycle accounting up to and including financial statements preparation for small and to medium business entities of all structures. Other responsibilities include Business Activity Statements, Individual Tax Returns, payroll and general bookkeeping.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completion of financial statements and income tax returns from start to finish for
Trusts
Companies
Partnerships
Self-Managed Super Funds (not a regular part of job)
Completion of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
Liase with ATO
Ad-hoc research of tax legislation as required
Assistance in completing payroll for clients
General Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate degree in Finance / Accounting is a must
CPA / MIA started or completed is a plus
Atleast 2-4 years of experience with Australian Accounting and Taxation
Knowledge and familiarity with accounting tools such as Quickbooks, Xero and MYOB is preferred
Fluent English oral and written communication skills
Amenable to work full time in Makati on a MORNING SHIFT (Amenable to temporarily work from home due to the pandemic).
