Job Description
Position Overview
The Senior Account Manager maintains and grows relationships with the assigned customers, while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goal. The role is expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts. Also, it is responsible for selling and supporting Diebold Nixdorf's complete product and service offering to the assigned key accounts. The most important customer interactions are face-to-face meetings with clients to provide, educate and promote the business through presentations, and other account analysis.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for achieving an assigned sales and profitability goal. He or She works closely with sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Roles and Responsibilities
Generate sales from new and existing accounts by offering the complete DN portfolio of products and services.
Build and maintain strong and long-term partnerships with our customers.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Understand client needs, initiate retention strategies, and identify new business opportunities within DN portfolio.
Lead the Sales Process and work collaboratively with Solution Sales Experts, Bid Management and Services teams to address customer requirements and close opportunities.
Develop, manage and execute strategic account plans to achieve assigned Sales Quota and KPIs.
Overall management of customer requirements and satisfaction based on DN standards.
Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competition and industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales or relevant field.
Minimum 7 years of proven work experience in sales, account management and/or new business development of complex solutions (Hardware, Software or Services).
Demonstrable exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving, negotiation and critical thinking skills.
Experience in C -level Account Coverage.
Knowledge and experience in Banking are mandatory.
Must have proven and successful sales experience at managing resources and complex, multi-dimensional sales efforts while maintaining good attention to details and organizational skills.
Proven success in high quota carrying position.
Process experience with CRM Software, such as Salesforce to maximize opportunities.
