Semiconductor Test Report Engineer

Rebound is an established European business, having successfully grown into Asia over the last 20 years. We are currently recruiting for a Component Test Report Engineer to oversee the test and inspection of the products being tested in our global laboratories, providing product evaluation, building inspection reports, and suggesting required inspection requirements.
Review component test results, identify defects manufacturers data sheets.
Analyse test data supplied by test technicians to build test reports.
Determine from the test data if more testing is required and advice back to technicians.
Determine results to pass or fail product.
Assist test technicians with technical queries based on results.
Suggest fixes and improvements.
Document technical issues and solutions.
Maintaining and controlling associated documentation for the process.
Monitor and report KPI for internal errors in supply of information.
Work with the quality team to improve process and training of Technicians.
Requirements and Skills
Excellent spoken and written English.
Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
Certification knowledge of AS6081 & AS6171 testing requirements an advantage.
Familiarity with various component testing techniques.
Great troubleshooting skills
Analytical mindset
BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field
Additional Details
Reporting to the UK Quality Team and liaising with UK and HK test facilities.
Working to HK & UK time zones, flexible HK - 8:30am to 6pm UK - 2pm to 10pm
