The Role
As a Segment Strategy and Performance Management Head, you will standardize segmentation criteria and prioritization, develop segment strategy, drive performance management and lead customer analytics and insights generation.
How you'll contribute
Lead the development of strategic factbase which includes business performance, customer insights, competitive insights and future market outlook.
Work with Analytics and Reporting Team to define one single view of customer economics data to be readily available for product divisions and branches.
Work with Analytics Team to identify, prioritize and implement cross -product, segment-level advanced analytics projects.
Devise multi-year segment strategy and initiatives.
Translate multi-year segment strategy into annual operating plan.
Drive annual planning and quarterly review process from segment perspective.
Perform regular assessment of segmentation usage across products and branches.
Communicate segment prioritization to product divisions and frontline.
Define clear segment definitions and criteria.
Identify economics of each segment and sub-segments.
Prioritize segments/sub-segments based on market size, growth, market share and potential to win in the future.
Define overall value proposition for target segment.
Establish team's structure and culture including recruiting, training, performance management of employees.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing or related fields.
Must have 8-10 years of experience in performance management in financial industry focusing on retail customers (has been responsible for business targets and directly managing frontline with business targets).
Experience in customer segmentation in a bank/ financial setting is preferred.
An analytical and a strategic thinker, with experience in setting strategies and plans for a business team.
Good business acumen and has the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business requirements.
Has broad understanding of the technology stack that sits behind advanced analytics capabilities.
Excellent people and negotiation skills.
Comfortable to work with 3rd party agencies or internal analytics/marketing team for consumer insights.
