Job Description (Security Operations Manager)
 
The Security Operations Management function is controlling, leading, planning, and making decisions on achieving ISMS goals, administering and enhancing security solutions
In charge of the technical implementation and operations of all security controls.
Responsible for managing security processes.
Ensures that security measures have been installed and are effective in meeting the objectives
Develop, implement, and manage ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes with management system requirements.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and facilitate necessary improvements.
Train and educate employees on management system standards and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices.
Track and exploit vulnerabilities being published publicly to be updated.
Formally identify and assess information security-related risks within the organization or information system.
Responsible for recommending and implementing the physical security controls to protect the organization's information.
Ensure the compliance of the ISMS towards the International Standard, organization processes, government regulation, and other standards the business has adopted.
Develop and improve the security policies and procedures.
Ensures adequacy and appropriateness of the controls developed.
Agrees on the risk assessment methodology to be adopted and used.
Responsible for security awareness and training programs.
Communicate with other teams to ensure adequate cyber-risk mitigation and information security on people, processes & and technology.
