Project Overview:
BARMMHealth is a five-year project to bolster the capacity of the Ministry of Health- Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) in facilitating local health solutions in family planning, adolescent and youth reproductive health, and maternal and child health, towards self-reliance and sustainability.
The project works on three objectives: Improve social norms and strengthened healthy behaviors among underserved adolescents, youth, women and men, fortify quality of family planning and maternal and child health service, and bolster key public health policies and systems needed to support behaviors and services for maternal and child health.
Position Overview:
Within the delegated authority, the Security Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
Assist in reviewing countrywide security situations on a daily basis, compile and put together factual information, and provide preliminary analysis as required
Assist in maintaining the Security Plan, including list of staff and eligible family members
Contribute to updating the fire safety arrangements, plans for fire/building evacuation, relocation/evacuation of staff to safe havens, and efficient implementation of all these arrangements and plans
Monitor the security service of a team of guards and ensure continuous coverage of security check points at all times
Maintain updated directories and security personnel lists
Create and review facility security and safety policies and practices for all workshops and trainings
Advise on local and regional travel based on the security situation at all levels
Respond to all enquiries relating to security and provide appropriate information or suggest alternative sources of information
Prepare for the arrival of groups and special guests to URC
Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
Act as a critical part of the Incident Management Team and provide well-reasoned operational and emergency recommendations as a technical advisor to the program management team and home office
Provide weekly reports and emergency or incident alerts and notifications as needed
Liaise with the local administrations, police authorities, fire services, and other emergency services
Perform other related duties as required
Required Experience and Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in operations and security management or related field
5 years operational and security management experience, with programmatic management experience managing over 40 personnel
