About the role:
This exciting Security Engineer role is responsible for designing and implementing the security architecture and ensure the network and computer systems are protected from potential hackers and cyber-attacks. They are expected to have attentional to detail, an outstanding problem-solving skills and work comfortably under pressure.
What we're looking for:
We have offices in Ortigas (Manila), Sydney and Newcastle. Our Manila staff members are currently working in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
Plan, implement, maintain and monitor security measures to ensure the organization's system, networks and data are securely protected
Review, investigate and respond to system and network security-related incidents and document incident reports
Coordinate the incident response across the relevant teams
Source and implement security solutions to better protect the business
Participate in the security assessments and audits
Conduct proactive research to analyse security weaknesses and recommend strategies to mitigate and resolve them
Automate security-related improvements
Raise and implement infrastructure and network security-related changes following the change management process
Liaise with vendors to ensure that third-party applications are protected and risk free from security threats
Coordinate penetration testing and liaise with the relevant team to resolve the findings
Review, automate, test and implement the server security patches
Review, automate and coordinate the workstations security patches with the support team
Develop, update and implement the company's information security strategy
Educate and train MoneyMe team on information security best practices
