About the LOB
Credit Asset Movement (CAM) is the department in charge of approving any transaction related to moving assets (cash and securities) to and from our clients Brokerage accounts. These transactions include wire transfers, check disbursements, ACH, and Journals. Wells Fargo Financial Advisors submits asset movement requests to CAM for review and approval either through a Wells Fargo managed system, through email, or over the phone.
About the Role
As a Securities Operations Service Specialist 2, your main role is to review and approve Service Requests. Approving a service request at times will require you to coordinate with the requestor to complete any missing requirements or correct any errors found through your review process. Part of your job as a SOSS2 is providing assistance to our FAs who call our department for expediting a request, making an inquiry regarding money movement, or guidance in submitting a service request.
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
At least 2 years of tertiary education
2 years of voice experience doing customer service
Experience in a financial campaign
Preferred experience in back office function
Experience in investment banking or brokerage services is an advantage
