Job Description:
The Body Repair and Painting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all body repair, denting, refinishing, and painting operations for company vehicles and equipment. This position supervises body repair technicians and painters, ensures quality workmanship, manages workflow, schedules repair activities, and maintains high standards of safety and finish quality. The supervisor ensures that all repair and painting tasks are performed according to manufacturer specifications, company standards, and required timelines.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree related to Automotive Technology, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or other technical fields
A PRC license is a plus
Preferably with valid Professional Driver's License - Code 1, 2, 3
At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a body shop or automotive workshop
Familiarity with body repair tools, welding equipment, paint booths, and safety procedures
With experience coordinating with suppliers and contractors for specialized repairs or parts procurement
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Capable of explaining repair findings and recommendations clearly and simply
Able to give clear instructions and technical guidance to body repair and painting staff
Familiarity with body straightening, welding, fabrication, surface preparation, sanding, priming, painting, and finishing processes
Experience maintaining maintenance records, service logs, and spare parts inventory.
