To support collaboration between Customer Care locations (CCL), Sales as well as Systems + Processes to deliver a great customer experience, supporting the development of new + existing customer targets.
To ensure supplier relationships are created + pro-actively managed to ensure delivery to service level agreements (SLA) + Global Partnership Rules (GPR).
To drive sea logistics procurement + carrier relation management by developing pricing strategies by liaising on pricing + RFQ preparation, maintaining + strengthening such relationships on the most senior levels.
To actively manage interfaces and the exchange of information + knowledge across the organization.
To contribute as process owner to continuous improvements of processes + controls for lean processes focusing on cost-effectiveness + productivity.
To optimize proceedings to ensure the development of Sea Logistics operational KPIs.
To ensure the timely + accurate management of invoicing, payables, and FSL management.
To undertake the responsibilities of the National/Cluster Dangerous Goods Coordinator.
Your Skills + Expertise
-Minimum of 10 years experience in the Freight Forwarding business; with the majority of experience in Sea Logistics.
Previous experience in a management or leadership role is a must.
Graduate of a bachelor's degree in any related course.
Must have experience managing a profit or cost center, preparation of sound financial budgets, and execution of business plans.
Operational and market expertise on the main sea trade lanes (TPEB, TAWB) as well as solid product knowledge on LCL and Reefer Logistics.
With advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and strategic skills, demonstrate a high level of business acumen and decision-making skills.
With the ability to build a good relationships with internal customers and vendors.
Very strong communication and leadership skills.
