About the Role
The Scrum Master is a servant-leader who supports the Product Owner as well as Product Team to continuously improve the way of working. The Scrum Master orchestrates the daily operational heartbeat and activities of the Product Team, and coaches the team members to maximize the continuous value being delivered by the Product Team. The Scrum Master is responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.
Context:
This job is part of our IS Finance team being responsible for developing and maintaining our global Finance applications and solutions as well as supporting the end-to-end Financial Operational Excellence value chain. To enable cross-functional support across the whole value chain and promoting end-to-end responsibility for our products and solutions, we intend to continuously establish self-governed Product Teams and empower the teams to decide on innovation and maintenance for a number of products, together with a Scrum Master and a Product Owner. I.e. the Product Team is empowered to evaluate the best distribution of tasks to be done, lifting that responsibility.
This job position concerns (but is not necessarily limited to) a Scrum Master position within our Document Compliance Product Team, enabling Grundfos to stay compliant with legal mandates in terms of exchanging documents electronically with local authorities.

Key Activities:
The Scrum Master serves the Product Team in several ways, including:
Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed
Support Product Owner to understand product planning in an empirical environment. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value and help Product Owner in understanding and practicing agility
Helping the Product Team to create high-value products
Removing impediments to the Product Team's progress
Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Helping the Product Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
Enabling change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Product Team
Developing own skills and prepare enhancements in the facilitation of Scrum events
Coaching the Product Team in self-organization and cross-functionality
Promoting team efficiency and effective utilization of team resources
Focusing on quality in the development and maintenance of solutions
Together with Product Team and the Product Owner spot and harvest opportunities for process improvements
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Certified as Scrum Master or similar
Understanding of teams and how teams work
Bachelor or master's degree in relevant areas
Experience with Wiki
Jira
Bitbucket or Azure DevOps * Excellent communication skills both orally and in written (in English)
Proven SAP SD or FI experience, e.g. as an end-user, functional consultant etc. is an advantage
Competencies:
Understand agile methods and practices, and how to apply those in a team context
Excellent team player and team builder with the ability to motivate
Ability to work with diverse personality types and across cultures
Ability to understand technical issues on a high level
Pragmatic and vigorous
Understanding of value streams and flow/productivity optimization
Ability to lead upwards
Informal team leader and being a role model for the team by living Grundfos' values and keeping a constructive positive mindset even during difficult times
