Perform reference service to students, faculty, and staff
Circulate library materials for students and employees
Update in-house statistics report
Maintain orderliness in the library
Monitor use of library cubicles
Monitor and update library social media accounts and assist in inquiries
Provide scanning and screen calibration services to students
Monthly
Generate monthly reports on the utilization of library materials and services
Process new acquisitions for circulation
Yearly
Perform an annual inventory of library resources
Conduct annual weeding out of outdated and irrelevant library resources
Conduct library orientation to new students and employees
Other Responsibilities
Attend weekly and monthly meetings
Assist in the selection and acquisition of books for the library
Assist in the preparation of the library's events and activities
Assist in the preparation of documents for school and program accreditation
Assist with special projects and programs organized by other departments
Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in the field of library and information science
Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science
Master's Degree or Units in Library and Information Science is a plus but not required
Must be a PRC License holder (RL)
Must have at least two (2) years of relevant experience in general library work and general library operations
General knowledge and enthusiasm with Traditional and Digital Arts, Multimedia, Information Technology and Game Development is a distinct advantage
Must possess strong relationship-building and communication skills
Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)
Familiarity and ability to work around Google Workspace is an advantage
Amenable to work on Saturdays
