Reporting to the SCADA/EMS Supervisor of Operation Technology Hardware Management Services Section under the SCADA/EMS Division, LSO, the successful candidate will be responsible for the security of the SCADA and SO Offline System in all control centers; for works with concerned groups to create, document, implement and manage policies, procedures, and practices that ensure the availability, integrity and privacy of information asset on SCADA and SO Offline systems; for participation in the conduct of maintenance activities of SCADA and SO Offline System Equipment and peripherals including management of security appliances.
Develops and implements the overall information security strategy and architecture to be used by the division:
Works with regional SCADA divisions and other concerned groups in the creation of policies, procedures or guidelines to ensure the security and privacy o information of SCADA system;
Conducts regular monitoring of system and alarm logs of servers, firewalls, IPS, Routers, etc;
Ensures that system upgrades and patches are tested first in SCADA test bed platform prior to deployment to production systems and prepares/reports information security incidents.
Maintain and updates current industry best practices in cyber security threats mitigation and awareness by educating the division of risks involved in cyberattack:
Maintains currency of expertise in security-related technologies, trends, issues &solutions;
Investigates security needs and recommends plans; implements, test and monitors information security improvements;
Provides instruction and training for employees on information security procedure sand applications;
Reports security events or potential threats or other security risks.
Administers and manages the maintenance and operation of SCADA/EMS and SO Offline System:
a)schedules the conduct of preventive maintenance programs;
b)participates in the conduct of preventive and corrective maintenance of SCADA Equipment.
Processes OPEX and CAPEX requirements, which include budget preparations, technical specifications, SAP Processing, Technical Evaluations, preparation of documentary requirements for payments.
Requirements:
Licensed Engineer
Four(4) years of relevant experience
Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of information security
Working knowledge of DCS, PLC and SCADA/HMI control system software, hardware and architecture
Excellent technical knowledge of computer servers, PCs and network devices
Software and hardware troubleshooting
Knowledge in data communication protocols, networking equipment and computer operating systems such as Linux, Unix, Windows Good communication skills
